About the position

Triage Staffing is seeking a travel CVOR Technologist for a travel job in Oak Lawn, Illinois. This position is designed for Allied Health Professionals specializing in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) technology. The role is set to start as soon as possible and will last for a duration of 13 weeks, with a commitment of 40 hours per week. The shifts will be 8 hours long, specifically during the night hours. This travel nursing position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment while providing essential support in cardiovascular surgeries. Responsibilities

  • Provide support in the cardiovascular operating room during surgical procedures.
  • Assist surgeons and other medical staff in the preparation and execution of cardiovascular surgeries.
  • Ensure the proper functioning of surgical equipment and instruments used in the operating room.
  • Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols during procedures.
  • Monitor patient vitals and assist in patient care before, during, and after surgery.

Requirements

  • Must be a certified CVOR Technologist with relevant experience in the field.
  • Current state licensure as required by the facility in Illinois.
  • Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a travel schedule.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience in a fast-paced surgical setting.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous travel experience as a CVOR Technologist.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • Additional certifications in related fields such as ACLS or BLS.
