About the position

PRN Healthcare is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Peoria, Illinois. This position involves working 12-hour shifts during the day, with an employment type classified as travel. The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week, with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined. As a travel Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the catheterization lab, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures. Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the catheterization lab.

  • Document patient information and procedures accurately.

Requirements

  • Current certification as a Cath Lab Technologist.
  • Experience in a catheterization lab setting.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts during the day.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a healthcare setting.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with various catheterization lab equipment.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • Previous travel experience in a healthcare role.
