About the position

Premier Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Chicago, Illinois. This position is designed for Allied Health Professionals specializing in Cath Lab technology. The role is set to commence on August 4, 2024, and will last for a duration of 13 weeks, with a commitment of 40 hours per week. The shifts will be 8 hours long during the day, providing a structured work schedule for the duration of the contract. The pay package for this position is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week, with a tax-free stipend amount that is yet to be determined. Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab.
• Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies for procedures.
• Assist physicians during catheterization procedures.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and comfort levels during procedures.
• Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations in the Cath Lab.

Requirements

• Valid Cath Lab Technologist certification.
• Experience in a Cath Lab setting is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic life support (BLS) certification.
