About the position

CrossMed - Cath Lab is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Lexington, Kentucky. This position is designed for Allied Health Professionals specializing in Cath Lab procedures. The role is set to start on August 12, 2024, and will last for a duration of 13 weeks, with a commitment of 40 hours per week. The shifts will be 8 hours long, and the job is classified as a travel position, which means the candidate will be required to travel to the assigned location for the duration of the assignment. The gross weekly pay for this position is $2426.80, reflecting the competitive pay packages that CrossMed Healthcare Staffing offers to its employees. Responsibilities

  • Provide and coordinate patient care in the Cath Lab.
  • Transport patients as needed to and from the procedure area.
  • Monitor and evaluate patients before, during, and after procedures based on unit protocols.
  • Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes to the healthcare team.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the procedure rooms and ensure adequate stock of supplies.
  • Assist with procedures and operate departmental equipment as required.
  • Communicate effectively with other health team members to ensure quality patient care.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • At least 1-2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist is preferred.
  • Graduate from an accredited school for Cath Lab Technologists.
  • Certifications may be required based on facility requirements.
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position and move/lift equipment weighing between 50-100 lbs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work with diverse personnel while maintaining a positive demeanor.
  • Technical skills to grasp, push/pull, and move while assisting with procedures or operating equipment.
  • Cognitive ability to manage frequent interactions with the public and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Keen visual understanding and practical communication abilities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a travel position is a plus.
  • Familiarity with various Cath Lab equipment and procedures.
