About the position

ALOIS Healthcare is seeking a travel CVOR Technologist for a travel job in Rochester, New York. This position is designed for an Allied Health Professional specializing in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) technology. The role is set to commence on September 2, 2024, and will last for a duration of 13 weeks, with a commitment of 40 hours per week. The shifts will be 8 hours long, primarily during the day. As a CVOR Technologist, you will play a crucial role during surgical operations by passing sterile instruments and supplies to surgeons and first assistants. Your responsibilities will include holding retractors, maintaining the position of internal organs during procedures, and setting up robotic surgical equipment. Additionally, you may be tasked with handling specimens that are taken for laboratory analysis. This position is not only vital for the success of surgical procedures but also requires a high level of skill and attention to detail to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Pass sterile instruments and supplies to surgeons and first assistants during operations.
• Hold retractors and maintain the position of internal organs during surgical procedures.
• Set up robotic surgical equipment as needed for various operations.
• Handle specimens taken for laboratory analysis, ensuring proper protocols are followed.

Requirements

• Certification as a Surgical Technologist with a specialization in CVOR.
