About the position

LeaderStat is seeking a dedicated and skilled travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week contract position in Canton, Ohio. This role is designed for professionals with a strong background in Radiology and Cardiology, specifically those who have experience working in a Cath Lab environment. The position requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care while working in a fast-paced and dynamic setting. As a travel Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the catheterization lab, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care and support to patients undergoing various cardiac procedures. The shift for this position is structured as a day shift, specifically 4x10-hour shifts from 07:30 AM to 05:00 PM. This schedule allows for a balanced work-life dynamic while still meeting the demands of the role. Candidates must have at least one year of full-time experience as a Cath Lab Technician to qualify for this position. Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the catheterization lab.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care.
  • Maintain and operate Cath Lab equipment effectively.
  • Document patient information and procedures accurately.

Requirements

  • 1 year of experience as a full-time Cath Lab Technician.
  • Current certification in Radiology or Cardiology.
  • Strong knowledge of Cath Lab procedures and protocols.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with travel nursing assignments.
  • Additional certifications in advanced cardiac life support (ACLS).
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
