About the position

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of patients while enjoying the flexibility and adventure that comes with travel assignments. The role involves working in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital, where you will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating patients before, during, and after procedures. You will also maintain the cleanliness of rooms and ensure that there is an adequate stock of supplies. The position requires a strong technical skill set, including the ability to grasp and manipulate equipment, as well as the physical capability to move about the facility and assist with procedures. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be part of a clinical team that supports you throughout your journey. Responsibilities

  • Monitor and evaluate patients before, during, and after procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness of rooms and ensure adequate stock of supplies.
  • Assist with procedures and use department equipment as needed.
  • Move equipment weighing between 50-100 lbs as required.
  • Work under close supervision and independently when necessary.

Requirements

  • Ability to grasp and perform fine manipulation tasks.
  • Physical capability to push, pull, and bend as needed.
  • Visual acuity and effective communication skills.
  • Experience in a Cath Lab or similar environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Epic charting system.
  • Certification in Vascular Technology.
