Responsibilities

  • Assist in surgical procedures in the cardiovascular operating room.
  • Ensure all equipment is functioning properly before and during surgeries.
  • Provide support to the surgical team and assist with patient care.
  • Monitor patient vitals and respond to any changes during procedures.
  • Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols.

Requirements

  • Current CVOR Technologist certification or equivalent.
  • Experience in a cardiovascular operating room setting.
  • Ability to work 10-hour shifts and adapt to a travel schedule.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of surgical procedures and equipment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Additional certifications in related specialties.
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • Bilingual skills may be beneficial.
