Responsibilities
- Perform EEG tests on patients as per established protocols.
- Ensure the proper functioning of EEG equipment before and after tests.
- Monitor patients during EEG procedures to ensure their comfort and safety.
- Document and report findings accurately to the supervising physician.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Assist in the training of new staff or students as needed.
Requirements
- Valid EEG Technologist certification or equivalent.
- Experience in performing EEG tests in a clinical setting.
- Strong understanding of EEG equipment and technology.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous travel experience as an EEG Technologist.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Bilingual skills may be beneficial.
