Responsibilities

  • Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures in-department.
  • Conduct portable radiographic procedures in the Emergency and Inpatient settings.
  • Assist with imaging associated with surgical, endoscopic, and tomographic procedures as needed.
  • Perform quality assurance tasks on imaging equipment as required.
  • Provide high-quality patient care with a focus on safety for both patients and staff.
  • Collaborate with physicians and physician offices to ensure optimal patient care.

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited 2 or 4 year program in Radiologic Technology accredited by ARRT or JRCERT.
  • Registered Technologist with the ARRT or registry eligible with attainment of registration within 12 months of employment.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) training or retraining required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
  • Current BLS certification must be maintained throughout employment.

Nice-to-haves

  • One year of experience as a registered radiologic technologist preferred but not required.
