Next Move Inc is actively seeking a skilled and dedicated travel Cath Lab Technologist to join our team for an exciting opportunity in Houston, Texas. This position is designed for an Allied Health Professional specializing in catheterization laboratory procedures. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process. The role requires a strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology, as well as proficiency in operating specialized imaging equipment. As a travel Cath Lab Technologist, you will be expected to adapt quickly to new environments and work collaboratively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals. You will play a crucial role in assisting physicians during procedures, monitoring patients' vital signs, and maintaining accurate records of procedures performed. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in different healthcare settings while providing high-quality care to patients. The assignment is set to begin on September 2, 2024, and will last for a duration of 13 weeks, with a standard work schedule of 40 hours per week, typically consisting of 10-hour shifts during the day. This travel position not only offers competitive pay but also includes a tax-free stipend, the amount of which will be determined upon confirmation. Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab.

Requirements

  • Current certification as a Cath Lab Technologist or equivalent.
  • Valid state license to practice as a Cath Lab Technologist.
  • Experience in a catheterization laboratory setting is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with advanced imaging techniques.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • Additional certifications in related fields.
