Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the catheterization lab.
  • Assist physicians during catheterization procedures and other interventional procedures.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and provide appropriate care during procedures.
  • Maintain and operate catheterization lab equipment and ensure its proper functioning.
  • Document patient information and procedures accurately in the medical records.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures in the catheterization lab.

Requirements

  • Current certification as a Cath Lab Technologist or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting.
  • Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with advanced imaging techniques in the Cath Lab.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications.
