Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures.
  • Assist physicians during catheterization procedures and ensure patient safety.
  • Maintain and operate cath lab equipment and ensure it is functioning properly.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the medical team.
  • Document patient information and procedures accurately in medical records.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in continuing education and training to stay current with best practices in the field.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of recent experience as a Cath Lab Technologist.
  • Current certification and licensure in the relevant field.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to new environments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of cardiac procedures and equipment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • Additional certifications in advanced cardiac life support (ACLS).
  • Bilingual skills to communicate with a diverse patient population.
