About the position

CrossMed - Cath Lab is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Omaha, Nebraska. This position is designed for an Allied Health Professional specializing in Cath Lab procedures. The role is set to start as soon as possible and will last for a duration of 13 weeks, with a commitment of 40 hours per week. The shifts will be 8 hours long, primarily during the day. The gross weekly pay for this position is $2816.00, reflecting the competitive pay packages that CrossMed Healthcare Staffing offers to its employees. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for providing and coordinating patient care, monitoring and evaluating patients before, during, and after procedures, and maintaining the cleanliness of the rooms and adequate stock of supplies. You will also be required to transport patients as needed and perform other duties as assigned. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, technical abilities, and cognitive demands to manage frequent interactions with the public and meet deadlines under pressure. Responsibilities

  • Provide and coordinate patient care in the Cath Lab.
  • Transport patients as needed.
  • Monitor and evaluate patients before, during, and after procedures depending on the unit.
  • Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes.
  • Maintain cleanliness of rooms and ensure adequate stock of supplies.
  • Move and lift equipment (50-100 lbs) as required.
  • Communicate effectively with other health team members.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • At minimum 1 - 2 years' experience preferred.
  • Graduate from an accredited school.
  • Certifications may be required based on facility requirements.
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position and move/lift equipment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a travel position is preferred.
  • Familiarity with various Cath Lab procedures.
