Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the catheterization lab.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Maintain and operate catheterization lab equipment and instruments.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and provide necessary interventions during procedures.
  • Document patient information and procedure details accurately in medical records.
  • Assist in the preparation and recovery of patients undergoing catheterization procedures.

Requirements

  • Current certification as a Cath Lab Technologist or equivalent.
  • Valid state licensure to practice as a Cath Lab Technologist.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Cath Lab setting.
  • Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with advanced imaging techniques in the Cath Lab.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
