About the position

Aequor Allied is actively seeking a skilled and dedicated travel Cath Lab Technologist to join our team for an exciting opportunity in Portland, Oregon. This position is designed for professionals who are looking to expand their experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will play a crucial role in assisting with diagnostic and interventional procedures in the catheterization laboratory. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the safety and comfort of patients undergoing these procedures, as well as in supporting the medical team in delivering high-quality care. In this travel role, you will be expected to work 10-hour shifts, totaling 40 hours per week, over a duration of 13 weeks. The position offers a unique chance to explore a new city while advancing your career in allied health. You will be responsible for operating imaging equipment, preparing patients for procedures, and collaborating with physicians and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This role requires a strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology, as well as proficiency in the use of various imaging modalities. Responsibilities

  • Assist in diagnostic and interventional procedures in the catheterization laboratory.

  • Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols.

Requirements

  • Valid certification as a Cath Lab Technologist or equivalent.
  • Experience in a Cath Lab setting is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to new settings quickly.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous travel experience as a Cath Lab Technologist.
  • Familiarity with various imaging modalities used in catheterization procedures.
