About the position

CrossMed - Cath Lab is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Tucson, Arizona. This position is designed for an Allied Health Professional specializing in Cath Lab procedures. The role is set to start as soon as possible and will last for a duration of 13 weeks, with a commitment of 40 hours per week. The work schedule consists of 8-hour shifts, primarily during the day. The gross weekly pay for this position is $2,688.00, and the assignment is expected to begin on May 20, 2024. Responsibilities

  • Provide and coordinate patient care in the Cath Lab setting.
  • Transport patients as needed to and from procedures.
  • Monitor and evaluate patients before, during, and after procedures based on unit protocols.
  • Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes to the healthcare team.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the Cath Lab rooms and ensure adequate stock of supplies.
  • Assist with procedures and operate departmental equipment as required.
  • Communicate effectively with other health team members to ensure quality patient care.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • At minimum 1 - 2 years' experience in a Cath Lab or similar setting preferred.
  • Graduate from an accredited school for Cath Lab Technologists.
  • Certifications may be required based on facility requirements.
  • Physical ability to remain in a stationary position and move/lift equipment weighing 50-100 lbs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work with diverse personnel while maintaining a positive demeanor.
  • Technical skills to assist with procedures and operate departmental equipment.
  • Cognitive ability to manage frequent interactions with the public and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Keen visual understanding and practical communication abilities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a travel healthcare position.
  • Additional certifications related to Cath Lab procedures.
