About the position

CrossMed - Cath Lab is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Miami, Florida. This position is designed for Allied Health Professionals specializing in Cath Lab technology. The role is set to start as soon as possible and will last for a duration of 13 weeks, with a commitment of 40 hours per week. The shifts will be 8 hours long, primarily during the day. The gross weekly pay for this position is $2304.00, and the assignment is expected to begin on June 3, 2024. Responsibilities

  • Provide and coordinate patient care in the Cath Lab.
  • Transport patients as needed during procedures.
  • Monitor and evaluate patients before, during, and after procedures based on unit protocols.
  • Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes to the healthcare team.
  • Maintain cleanliness of rooms and ensure adequate stock of supplies.
  • Assist with the movement and lifting of equipment weighing between 50-100 lbs.
  • Communicate effectively with other health team members to ensure quality patient care.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • At minimum 1 - 2 years' experience preferred in a Cath Lab setting.
  • Graduate from an accredited school for Cath Lab Technologists.
  • Certifications may be required based on facility requirements.
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position and perform physical tasks such as pushing, bending, and pulling.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working in a travel position.
  • Familiarity with various Cath Lab equipment and procedures.
