About the position

The Technology Auditor at Netflix will support the corporate and studio technology by identifying and assessing technical compliance and risks across various business functions. The role involves evaluating the design of processes and controls, executing projects, and fostering strong partnerships with stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical and communication skills to navigate a complex environment effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in all phases of the IT SOX Program, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting.
  • Partner with Engineering stakeholders to evaluate system implementation for continued SOX compliance.
  • Audit technology processes around home-grown and third-party systems.
  • Execute procedures that provide control assurance through code review.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to build trust and credibility.
  • Identify improvements and automation opportunities to increase audit efficiency.
  • Collaborate with external auditors to ensure alignment and timely completion of milestones.
  • Document accurate and detailed work papers describing audit procedures and conclusions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or related fields
  • 3+ years of experience, preferably with a minimum of 2 years in public accounting or internal audit
  • Strong grasp of basic technology concepts (infrastructure, applications, etc.)
  • Knowledge of IT auditing processes/procedures
  • Proficient in code review for SQL, Python, Java, and working with cloud ERP systems (e.g., Workday)
  • Working knowledge of cloud-based systems and compliance in a cloud environment
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to deliver high-quality work products
  • Strong prioritization and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work closely with people at all levels of the organization
  • Understanding of internal control frameworks including COBIT, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, etc.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with digital advertising and/or MRC accreditation
  • CISA, CIA, and Big 4 consulting experience
