The Technology Business Partnership Manager at Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) plays a vital role in aligning technology initiatives with the organization's strategic goals. This position focuses on fostering collaboration, optimizing effectiveness, and ensuring that technology solutions reflect MMA's organizational strategy. The manager will work closely with various teams to set expectations, achieve alignment, and deliver value-added solutions, contributing significantly to the growth and success of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Define, champion, and iterate on the strategic direction for technology initiatives.
- Foster collaboration and break down silos within the organization.
- Optimize overall effectiveness of technology solutions in alignment with MMA's strategy.
- Work with partners to set expectations and achieve alignment on technology projects.
- Develop and deliver key performance indicators by Portfolio.
- Manage business-aligned portfolio management and health metrics reporting.
- Support business case development, costing, and budgeting coordination.
- Oversee strategic program management.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in a Business Relationship Manager role or similar.
- Experience in demand management, including intake, tracking, and prioritization of requests.
- Strong portfolio management skills with health metrics and reporting experience.
- Proficient in business case development, costing, and budgeting coordination.
- Excellent listening skills and ability to build rapport with stakeholders.
- Strong people leadership skills and comfort in managing relationships with C-suite executives.
- Strong analytical skills for synthesizing complex information and presenting it clearly.
- Ability to interact with energy, focus, assertiveness, and diplomacy.
- Proven problem-solving skills and ownership of results as part of a team.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
Nice-to-haves
