About the position

The Technology Business Partnership Manager at Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) plays a vital role in aligning technology initiatives with the organization's strategic goals. This position focuses on fostering collaboration, optimizing effectiveness, and ensuring that technology solutions are tailored to meet business needs. The manager will work closely with various teams to develop key performance indicators and manage a business-aligned portfolio, contributing significantly to the growth and success of MMA.

Responsibilities

• Define, champion, and iterate on the strategic direction for technology initiatives.
• Foster collaboration and break down silos within the organization.
• Optimize overall effectiveness of technology solutions in alignment with MMA's organizational strategy.
• Work with partners to set expectations and achieve alignment on technology projects.
• Develop and deliver value-add key performance indicators by Portfolio.
• Manage business-aligned portfolio management, health metrics, and reporting.
• Support business case development, costing, and budgeting coordination.
• Steward and champion the MMA Strategic Technology Roadmap.
• Coordinate and support strategic program management.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in a Business Relationship Manager role or similar.
• Experience in Demand Management, including intake, tracking, and prioritization of new requests.
• Strong portfolio management skills, including health metrics and reporting.
• Experience in acquisition integration strategy and coordination.
• Proficient in business case development, costing, and budgeting coordination.
• Excellent listening skills with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility as a strategic partner.
• Strong people leadership skills and comfort in managing relationships with the C-suite.
• Strong analytical skills to synthesize complex information and present it clearly to stakeholders.
• Ability to interact with energy, focus, assertiveness, and diplomacy.
• Proven problem-solving skills and ownership of results as part of a team.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.

Nice-to-haves

• University degree in computer science and/or project management.
