About the position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Technology Business Systems Senior Manager to lead a team of Scrum Masters and collaborate with product development teams. The role focuses on enhancing agile practices, ensuring effective delivery across teams, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and skill growth. The manager will guide their team in meeting business objectives while navigating dependencies and risks associated with software releases.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Scrum Masters and partner with product development teams to enhance agile practices.
• Ensure delivery is orchestrated across teams and dependent products.
• Drive continuous improvement across the Product Line and Product.
• Manage and develop team members, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
• Facilitate collaborative conversations and release mapping to connect activities needed for software production.
• Ensure transparency in release events and help teams recognize dependencies and conflicts.
• Partner with product managers and technology groups to mitigate risks associated with software releases.
• Coach Scrum Masters to improve team cohesion and collaboration across product feature teams.
• Communicate with stakeholders, escalate impediments, and manage risks effectively.
• Champion customer-centric product delivery with an Agile and modern-engineering mindset.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in Business Systems Data, Business Systems Designing, or Information Technology Consulting.
• 5+ years of experience in release planning, management, and mapping.
• 5+ years of experience in Agile or product management.
• 3+ years of management experience, including managing direct reports.
• 3+ years of experience leading large software development planning efforts across multiple complex product areas.

• Ability to be a people leader and a 'player coach' in release planning.
• Understanding of architecture and impacts of work across multiple platforms.
• Ability to articulate potential release collision points and critical dependencies.
• Experience making timely, fact-based recommendations in a fast-paced environment.
• Facilitation skills within a software development environment using architectural understanding.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience with Agile tools, such as Jira and Jira Align.
