About the position

The Technology Career Coach/Recruiter at Spartanburg Community College is responsible for developing marketing strategies and actively recruiting students for computer, engineering, and business technology programs. This role involves collaboration with the Marketing and Outreach departments to enhance recruitment efforts and increase awareness of technology programs within the community.

Responsibilities

  • Develop marketing strategies for technology programs.
  • Actively recruit for computer, engineering, and business technologies.
  • Coordinate recruitment and awareness activities, including community outreach and events.
  • Maintain website and social media platforms for technology programs.
  • Assist with data management and reporting for the NSF data analytics grant.
  • Prepare and conduct presentations for prospective students.
  • Provide enrollment assistance to prospective students, including career exploration and application processes.

Requirements

  • High school diploma and relevant program experience.
  • Bachelor's degree may substitute for required program experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Associate degree or bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • At least one year of marketing and higher education recruiting experience.
