About the position

The Technology Chief of Staff will support the Chief Information Technology Officer (CITO) in managing the information technology function of a private investment firm. This role is crucial for aligning technology initiatives with the organization's strategic goals, particularly in the healthcare, industrial, and commercial sectors. The position involves leading agile transformation initiatives, developing technology strategies, and ensuring effective communication and collaboration across various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the agile transformation initiatives across the technology function
• Develop and execute the technology strategy and roadmap in alignment with the business goals and priorities
• Coordinate and facilitate the technology governance, planning, budgeting, and resource allocation processes
• Manage and monitor the technology portfolio, projects, and programs
• Establish and maintain the dashboard and reporting framework for the technology function, providing visibility, transparency, and insights to the stakeholders
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with the CITO, the technology leadership team, the business stakeholders, the executive team, the portfolio companies, and external partners

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
• 10-15 years of experience in technology management, project management, or consulting roles
• Proven track record of leading and delivering complex technology projects and programs
• Ability to understand complex ideas and summarize them
• Expertise in change management, agile methodologies, and performance reporting
• Strong knowledge and experience in technology strategy, governance, architecture, and innovation
