About the position

The Technology Compliance Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing technology projects throughout their lifecycle within the financial services sector. This role involves defining project objectives, managing resources and budgets, and ensuring timely delivery of projects while maintaining regulatory compliance. The Project Manager collaborates with stakeholders to align projects with business goals and enhances operational efficiency through successful technology implementations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage technology projects throughout their lifecycle.
  • Define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
  • Identify risks and dependencies, and develop comprehensive project plans.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams and manage resources and budgets.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align projects with business goals and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to management.
  • Manage vendors, negotiate contracts, and resolve issues.
  • Review and sign off on milestones and completion proposals.
  • Form strong partnerships with business stakeholders to influence program scope and timelines.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of Project Management experience preferably in a financial services environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Finance or related field.
  • Experience in managing complex IT processes and projects across multiple business and technical areas.
  • Excellent understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • PMP certification preferred, any other related Project Management certifications a plus.
  • Ability to influence people outside the immediate span of control and negotiate conflicts.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Outstanding time management skills and ability to multitask.

  • Experience working with technology vendors to implement application or infrastructure product solutions.
  • Ability to thrive in a challenging environment and adjust to changing business requirements.
  • Experience in public speaking and developing relationships across all levels of the enterprise.

  • Competitive salary range between $142,000.00 and $196,000.00.
