About the position

The Technology Consultant position is focused on providing consulting services to the Federal organization, which addresses the unique mission and regulatory requirements of the United States Government. The role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to understand business needs, providing technical solutions, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services while adhering to security and compliance standards. The consultant will also engage in business development, intellectual property management, and operational excellence to drive innovation and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders in the pre-sale process to understand business requirements and provide technical input.
• Support drafting proposals and statements of work (SOW).
• Provide input on staffing and skill requirements for project delivery.
• Lead meetings with customers to understand their business needs and map them to technology solutions.
• Participate in project planning and develop project documentation, identifying risks and dependencies.
• Implement solutions and provide oversight on workstreams across domains.
• Manage executive-level customer relationships to improve satisfaction and address issues.
• Act as an ambassador for intellectual property consumption and improvement.
• Identify opportunities to expand cloud adoption and drive innovation.
• Learn new technologies based on business demand and industry trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Business, or related field.
• 3+ years of leadership experience in a relevant area of business.
• Active U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
• Ability to meet customer and government security screening requirements.

Nice-to-haves

• 5+ years of leadership experience in a relevant area of business.
• Technical certification based on domain/service line (e.g., Azure, Security, Dynamics).
• Delivery Management certification (e.g., Scrum, Agile, Change Management, Project Management).
• Experience working with Azure technologies (Networking, Infrastructure, App Dev, Identity, Active Directory, Azure Stack).
• Experience with Data & AI solutions (SQL, Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, PowerBI).
• Experience with Security & Identity solutions (Sentinel, Azure Security Center, Defender for Cloud).
