About the position

The Technology Development Program (TDP) at AT&T is designed to accelerate the careers of participants, transforming them from students into highly skilled technology professionals. As a Network Engineer within TDP, you will engage in the architecture, engineering, and operation of AT&T's wireless and fiber-based networks, contributing to the development of next-generation automated self-managed networks. This role emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and mentorship, providing a supportive environment to enhance your technical and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the group responsible for the architecture, engineering, and operation of AT&T's wireless and fiber-based networks.
• Create, communicate, and implement plans for voice, video, and data technologies.
• Analyze data and work with vendors to transform information into actionable plans and status updates.
• Plan future cell locations for the latest Wireless 5G network.
• Manage high-capacity router network growth and create optical fiber build plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math).
• Comfortable with at least one programming language.
• Familiarity with data analysis techniques for data retrieval, manipulation, and visualization.
• Good understanding of automation fundamentals.
• Knowledge of financials and ability to translate technical details into common terms.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
