As a Network Engineer within the TDP, you will partner with the team responsible for the architecture, engineering, and operation of AT&T's wireless and fiber-based networks. Your role will involve creating, communicating, and implementing plans for voice, video, and data technologies, contributing to the next generation of automated self-managed networks. You will be involved in planning future cell locations for the latest Wireless 5G network, managing high-capacity router network growth, and creating optical fiber build plans that enable broadband streaming. This position requires analyzing data, working with vendors, and transforming information into actionable plans that can be communicated to cross-functional teams and leaders. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who is curious, multiskilled, and comfortable with at least one programming language. You should possess data analysis techniques for data retrieval, manipulation, and visualization, along with a good understanding of automation fundamentals and financials. Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills are essential, as you will interface with various levels of internal and external leadership. Responsibilities

  • Partner with the team responsible for the architecture, engineering, and operation of AT&T's wireless and fiber-based networks.
  • Create, communicate, and implement plans for voice, video, and data technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math).
  • Comfortable with at least one programming language.
  • Proficient in data analysis techniques for data retrieval, manipulation, and visualization.
  • Good understanding of automation fundamentals.
  • Knowledge of financials and ability to translate technical details into common terms.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
