About the position

The Technology Leadership Development Associate (LDA) position at CSX Transportation is designed for future business leaders to enhance their skills within the Technology organization. This 12-month program focuses on developing innovative applications, processes, and tools that support business growth. Associates will engage in a structured orientation and career development program, gaining insights into the railroad industry while working on technology initiatives across various teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct root-cause analysis to improve reliability and efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• High School Diploma/GED with IT specific certifications and 2+ years of experience in Information Technology or related fields.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of Supply Chain and Operations Management.
• Familiarity with cloud and low code technologies (e.g., Microsoft Power Platform).
• Understanding of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Knowledge of risk and cost analysis.
• Experience with web programming concepts (Angular/Java).
• Familiarity with database concepts (relational, document, graph).
• Knowledge of DevOps and cybersecurity practices.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python.
