About the position

Lululemon is seeking a seasoned Technology Manager to lead the Upstream Supply Chain Technology team, which plays a crucial role in enabling the company's supply chain from raw materials to finished goods production through innovative technology solutions. This position is pivotal in empowering the organization to drive innovation and deliver on its strategic vision, which includes optimizing sourcing and manufacturing processes while cultivating a responsible supply chain and ensuring superior product quality. The ideal candidate will be a technology leader who can closely collaborate with business and product partners to shape and deliver the team's roadmap and technology vision. In this influential role, the Technology Manager will lead and grow a team of skilled engineers, architects, and analysts through an empathetic and people-centric approach. Responsibilities include setting the team's delivery roadmap and technical goals, ensuring that deliverables meet the security, quality, and maturity standards set by enterprise architecture and engineering. The manager will represent the team in front of stakeholders in forums such as OpsCo and SteerCo, ensuring that the team delivers according to planned timelines by helping to remove any blockers. Additionally, the manager will manage the resource plan and budget for the team, set OKRs and development goals, and provide support and mentorship to team members. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in information technology, including at least 4 years of experience in directly leading and developing technology delivery teams. Experience in conducting discovery and implementation of enterprise-scale technology solutions, implementing real-time data integrations, and utilizing cloud technologies is essential. The role requires a leader who acknowledges the presence of choice in every moment, possesses an entrepreneurial spirit, communicates with honesty and kindness, leads with courage, fosters connection, and integrates fun and joy into the workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and grow a team of skilled engineers, architects, and analysts through an empathetic and people-centric approach.
  • Set the team's delivery roadmap and technical goals, working closely with product and partner teams.
  • Ensure team's deliverables meet the security, quality, and maturity standards set by enterprise architecture and engineering.
  • Represent the team in front of stakeholders in forums like OpsCo and SteerCo.
  • Ensure that the team is delivering as per the planned timelines by helping remove any blockers.
  • Manage the resource plan and budget for the team.
  • Set OKRs and development goals for the team and provide support and mentorship.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in information technology.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in directly leading and developing technology delivery teams.
  • Experience in conducting discovery and implementation of enterprise scale technology solutions (including SaaS) for complex business workflows.
  • Experience in implementing real-time data integrations using technologies like Kafka and REST API.
  • Experience in implementing data reports and visualizations using platforms similar to Snowflake and Power BI.
  • Experience with cloud technologies.
