About the position

The Technology Manager at Circle Computer Resources, Inc. is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the internal IT department, ensuring the effective management of technology projects, and leading a team of IT professionals. This role requires a strong technical background and hands-on approach to support the company's strategic objectives while implementing security measures to protect information and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Actively manage the day-to-day operations of internal IT, including network infrastructure, hardware, software, and telecommunications.
• Provide direct technical support and troubleshooting for end-users, ensuring minimal downtime and swift issue resolution.
• Supervise and mentor the IT team, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.
• Develop and implement IT strategies to align with the company's business goals and enhance productivity.
• Prepare and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions and investments.
• Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.
• Ensure the security of IT systems and data, implementing best practices and compliance with regulations.
• Lead IT projects from conception to implementation, ensuring timely and successful completion.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in technology project management.
• Proven experience managing end user services, proficient in Microsoft, including installation, configuration, and management of Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Group Policy, and security protocols.
• Strong hands-on technical experience in IT systems, infrastructure, and security.
• Experience with IT project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
• Experience designing and implementing security solutions in complex environments.
• Working expertise in networking, network protocols, operating systems, and security technologies.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and container technologies.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve complex IT issues.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

Nice-to-haves

• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or GIAC are highly desirable.
