About The Position

The Technology Manager at Nissan is responsible for leading a team that coordinates with business units and information system vendors to facilitate application and technical infrastructure development. This role involves managing ongoing application support, participating in budget planning, and aligning technology strategies with Nissan's business objectives. The manager will also oversee vendor relationships, ensuring efficient resource use and adherence to cybersecurity standards.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of IT/IS experience.
  • At least 5 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Experience supervising diverse roles such as Project Managers and Business Analysts.
  • Knowledge of vendor management and contract management.
  • Strong project management skills and knowledge of automotive business systems.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Platform and its various clouds.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and portfolio management.

Nice To Haves

  • Salesforce Platform/Admin Certifications.
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification.
  • Basic understanding of Captive Finance.
  • Knowledge of BI/Data, Reporting, and Analytics.
  • Knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure, preferably AWS.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team to coordinate with business units and IS vendors.
  • Facilitate application or technical infrastructure development.
  • Manage ongoing application or infrastructure production support.
  • Participate in budget planning and project coordination with NML and North American affiliates.
  • Align technology strategies with Nissan's business strategies and initiatives.
  • Establish project portfolios and roadmaps that support business strategies.
  • Proactively align with partners to raise new initiatives and improve customer experience.
  • Manage technology outsource vendor relationships and develop agreements and SLAs.
  • Oversee project management to ensure alignment with business outcomes and budget.
  • Ensure applications adhere to cybersecurity and technology standards.
