About the position
Wells Fargo is seeking a Technology Operations Analyst to join the Chief Technology Office (CTO) within the Production Control Operations (PCO) Team. This role focuses on providing incident support for mainframe and distributed batch operations, ensuring effective change management practices are followed. The analyst will engage in initiatives to enhance technology operations, manage major incidents, and assess the impact of technology events on business operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform mainframe and distributed batch-related incident support.
- Participate in initiatives and identify opportunities for technology operations.
- Evaluate basic or tactical challenges that require research and evaluation.
- Provide centralized command and control for major incident management.
- Review, analyze and escalate issues from key metric analysis and event monitors.
- Develop knowledge of business cycles and capabilities to assess the impact of technology events.
- Reduce the impact of application and infrastructure failures on business delivery.
- Engage various teams to assess system health and issues.
- Present recommendations for resolving complex situations.
- Provide information to functional colleagues and stakeholders.
Requirements
- 2+ years of Technology Operations experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
Nice-to-haves
- Proficiency in providing distributed batch support utilizing Autosys Work Control Center (WCC) GUI.
- Proficiency in providing distributed batch support utilizing Autosys command-line interface (CLI).
- Proficiency in providing mainframe batch support utilizing CA 7 scheduler.
- Proficiency in providing Mainframe Network Data Mover (NDM) incident support.
- Proficiency in using ServiceNow.
