The Technology Product Analyst IV position is designed for individuals who are adept at compiling, researching, analyzing, and documenting data, requirements, workflows, processes, functionality, and controls for the respective Information Systems Division (ISD) group. This role involves developing and evaluating information, preparing recommendations based on thorough analysis, and serving as a liaison or subject matter expert in the respective business area. The analyst will provide leadership for strategic and compliance projects or programs, ensuring that all initiatives align with the organization's goals and standards. In this role, the analyst will work as part of 2-3 Agile Scrum teams, drafting and refining epics and user stories for medium to high complexity Agile projects. The position requires a strong competence in planning, organization, and multi-tasking, particularly for large and complex efforts. The analyst will partner with Scrum Masters to create, maintain, and manage the overall product board/backlog, ensuring that backlog items are ordered to achieve goals and optimize the value of each sprint. Utilizing tools such as Gherkin and Azure Boards, the analyst will clearly present status updates and issues in various formats, leading product meetings including demos. The responsibilities also include eliciting and documenting both functional and non-functional requirements through various techniques such as interviews, document analysis, storyboards, use cases, scenarios, and diagramming. The analyst will document process models, identify process improvement opportunities, and represent requirements using alternative views to facilitate communication within the project/product team. Analyzing information, requirements, data, work quality, and service-specific practices will be crucial in recognizing and proactively raising issues or risks, along with proposing well-considered solutions. The role demands significant creativity and a variety of approaches to solving business and technical problems, as well as the ability to identify and analyze opportunities for new or improved processes, data, or technology. Conducting benchmarking, testing, and trend analysis will drive product development and continuous improvement. The analyst will also ensure compliance with Navy Federal Credit Union ISD standards and best practices, demonstrating leadership within the Scrum team and mentoring interns, contractors, and other analyst staff. Continuous improvement of industry/domain-specific knowledge is essential, as the analyst will remain current with emerging products and technical updates.
