The Technology Product Analyst IV at Navy Federal Credit Union is responsible for compiling, researching, analyzing, and documenting data, requirements, workflows, processes, functionality, and controls for the Information Systems Division (ISD). This role involves developing and evaluating information and preparing recommendations based on analysis to aid in decision-making. The analyst will serve as a liaison and subject matter expert in their respective business area, providing leadership for strategic and compliance projects or programs. In this position, the analyst will work as part of 2-3 Agile Scrum teams, drafting and refining epics and user stories for medium to high complexity Agile projects. They will demonstrate competence in planning, organization, and multi-tasking of large and complex efforts, partnering with Scrum Masters for overall product board/backlog creation, maintenance, and management. The analyst will leverage tools such as Gherkin and Azure Boards to present status and issues in various formats, leading product meetings including demos. The role requires eliciting and documenting functional and non-functional requirements using various techniques, including interviews, document analysis, storyboards, use cases, scenarios, and diagramming. The analyst will also document process models, identify process improvement opportunities, and represent requirements using alternative views to facilitate communication with the project/product team. They will analyze information, requirements, data, work quality, work methods, processes, and service-specific practices to recognize and proactively raise issues or risks along with well-considered solutions. Additionally, the analyst will conduct benchmarking, testing, write test scripts, and perform trend analysis to drive product development and continuous improvement. They will ensure compliance with Navy Federal Credit Union ISD standards and best practices while demonstrating leadership within the Scrum team and mentoring interns, contractors, and other analyst staff. Continuous improvement and staying current with emerging products and technical updates are also key aspects of this role.
