About the position

As a Product Manager at OptiFreight® Logistics, you will be an integral part of the Commercial Products Team, which is responsible for managing the enterprise's portfolio of commercial products. This role encompasses the entire product lifecycle, from ideation through to launch and beyond, ensuring that our products not only meet customer needs but also drive business value through innovative technology solutions. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including business leaders, marketing teams, and engineering departments, to create strategies that enhance the customer experience and maximize the effectiveness of our product offerings. In this position, you will conduct user research to gain insights into customer needs and pain points, which will inform the development of product requirements and roadmaps. You will define the product vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business goals, and prioritize product features to guarantee timely delivery within budget constraints. Your analytical skills will be crucial as you track product performance metrics and analyze data to identify areas for improvement. Additionally, you will work with marketing and sales teams to develop effective go-to-market strategies, staying informed about industry trends and competitor activities to keep our products competitive and relevant.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct user research to understand customer needs and pain points.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, engineering, marketing) to translate user insights into product requirements and roadmaps.
  • Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business goals.
  • Prioritize product features and ensure on-time delivery within budget constraints.
  • Develop product specifications and user stories.
  • Track product performance metrics and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (business, engineering, computer science, etc.) or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of product management experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with user research methodologies (e.g., user interviews, surveys) is a plus.
  • Experience with product management tools (e.g., Jira) is a plus.
  • Passion for building great products and a strong understanding of the user experience.
