About the position

The Program Manager will oversee and coordinate the aviation program for the customer, ensuring effective management of engineering requirements and operational activities. This role requires strong leadership skills and a background in aviation management, with a focus on managing multiple engineering projects and operational activities efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage aviation projects, ensuring timely completion within scope and budget.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, clients, and external partners to align project objectives and deliverables.
  • Coordinate and allocate resources effectively to maximize productivity and efficiency across projects.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring financial accountability.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor project progress to ensure objectives are met.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations for improvements.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by evaluating project outcomes and implementing lessons learned in future projects.
  • Responsible for all phases of the program budget and monthly Program Management Reviews.
  • Monitor contract, subcontract, and funding; prepare forecasts of program financial performance and develop and deliver required reports.

Requirements

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Word, etc.).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and operational tempos simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Aerospace Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in program or project management within the aviation or like industry.
  • Prior customer experience with TS/SCI clearance.
  • 8 years of Program Management experience.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of $104,000 - $166,000 based on experience and other factors.
