About the position

The position involves managing multiple client engagement teams at an executive level within EY's consulting risk services. The role focuses on providing clients with a reliable overview of their risk landscape, enhancing information systems, and performing IT control and security engagements. The candidate will work closely with high-level client personnel to analyze and evaluate their internal control processes, ensuring compliance with professional standards.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple client engagement teams at an executive level.
  • Analyze, evaluate, and enhance information systems for business internal control processes.
  • Assist clients and Risk Assurance professionals in IT control and security engagements.
  • Provide guidance and share knowledge with team members on complex issues.
  • Create plans for accomplishing engagement objectives and strategies that comply with professional standards.
  • Maintain relationships with client management to manage expectations of service.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of complex information systems and apply it to client situations.
  • Identify technological developments and evaluate impacts on the client's business.
  • Inspire teamwork and responsibility within the engagement team.
  • Utilize current technology/tools to enhance the effectiveness of deliverables.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience as an IT auditor or IT risk adviser.
  • Significant experience in financial statement audits, internal or operational audits, Service Organization Controls Reporting engagements, or ERP security and control reviews.
  • Availability to travel outside of the assigned office location at least 50% of the time.
  • A valid passport is required.

Nice-to-haves

  • CPA, CA, CISA, CISSP, CISM, CBCP, CIA, CIPP, CGEIT certification is desired; non-certified candidates must become certified within 1 year from hire.
