About the position

The Technology Rotational Development Program (RDP) is a comprehensive 24-month formalized training initiative designed for aspiring Site Reliability Engineers (SREs). This program includes 8-month rotations within the U.S. Information Solutions (USIS) Technology organization, specifically focusing on the B2B sector. Participants will engage in a variety of roles that will enhance their technical skills and provide them with a deep understanding of cloud technologies, the company's products, and its customer base. The program is tailored for highly motivated individuals who possess strong collaboration and communication skills, enabling them to tackle critical business challenges and improve product performance. Throughout the rotational program, participants will receive formal training and development opportunities, allowing them to gain hands-on experience in various areas of the USIS Technology organization. This role is particularly suited for those who enjoy addressing technical challenges, automating processes, and ensuring the smooth operation of systems. Participants will work in a DevSecOps environment, contributing to the build and maintenance of small-scale, fault-tolerant systems. They will also assist in creating new tools and scripts aimed at automating incident remediation, thereby enhancing system reliability. Collaboration is key in this role, as participants will work closely with both development and operations teams to build highly available and cost-effective systems. They will be involved in measuring and monitoring system performance, identifying impairments, and addressing outages. Additionally, participants will support the cloud operations team in resolving system issues, providing them with valuable exposure to senior leadership and the inner workings of the organization.
