About The Position

The Technology Solutions Design Engineer at CMTA will be responsible for designing Information and Communications Technology Systems, including Data Networks, Nurse Call, Medical Technology, Electronic Safety & Security, Paging, and Wireless systems. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, client interaction, and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions for various projects, particularly in healthcare and educational settings.

Requirements

• A degree in Electrical or Technology Engineering is required.
• 3-6 years of proven experience in designing Information and Communications Technology Systems.
• Proficiency in design software including Microsoft Office365, Autodesk BIM 360, Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Possession of a BICSI Registered RCDD certification or active pursuit of certification is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Utilize 3-6 years of experience in designing Information and Communications Technology Systems to develop innovative solutions.
• Demonstrate strong initiative and proactive planning skills while collaborating within cross-functional teams.
• Leverage expertise with design software such as Microsoft Office365, Autodesk BIM 360, Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks to create detailed designs and documentation.
• Engage with clients using exceptional written and verbal communication skills to present and explain design concepts.
