About the position

The Technology Strategy Senior Manager at Accenture is responsible for leading technology strategy consulting initiatives that help clients transform their business operations and models. This role involves advising clients on data-driven technology strategies, managing project delivery, and building long-term relationships with senior leaders to create strategic solutions that align with business, technology, and operational goals. The position requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and the ability to mentor junior team members while driving the practice forward as a thought leader in the industry.

Responsibilities

  • Run delivery to understand clients' industry and business options in the context of global, economic, technology, and social trends.
  • Lead project delivery to identify the right solutions for clients' needs.
  • Head projects to ensure clients are positioned for long-term success with practical roadmaps for Digital, IT, or Cloud strategy.
  • Earn the trust of senior leaders at client organizations and partner with them to create strategic solutions.
  • Build relationships with clients to enhance Accenture's profile as a trusted advisor and partner.
  • Fortify Accenture's Technology Strategy practice by creating content and participating in professional forums.
  • Lead projects that deliver world-class business technology strategy solutions.
  • Mentor junior members of the Strategy team and prepare them for more responsibility.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of strategy consulting experience at a consulting firm.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in at least 2 of the following: operating model strategy, technology in M&A, tech value cost take-out, or technology driven revenue growth strategy.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience writing business cases to support strategic business initiatives, process improvement initiatives, or IT transformation.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience leading or managing small teams effectively, including planning analytical work and developing technology strategy recommendations.
  • Bachelor's degree.

Nice-to-haves

  • MBA or equivalent graduate degree.
  • Experience as a long-term trusted advisor providing Thought Leadership and knowledge of market trends.
  • Strong understanding of a specific industry, client, or technology to advise senior leadership.
  • Ability to manage budgeting and forecasting activities and build financial proposals.
  • Experience managing end-to-end projects and reporting to top levels.
  • Ability to create expert content and participate in professional forums.
  • Critical thinking skills and ability to provide creative solutions.
  • Advanced presentation and public speaking skills (C-level).
