About the position

As a Technology Support III team member in the Cybersecurity and Technology Controls team at JPMorgan Chase, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the operational stability, availability, and performance of production application flows. Your expertise in technology support will help troubleshoot, maintain, and resolve service interruptions, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and leading to a seamless user experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provides end-to-end application or infrastructure service delivery to enable successful business operations of the firm
  • Supports the day-to-day maintenance of the firm's systems to ensure operational stability and availability
  • Assists in the monitoring of production environments for anomalies and addresses issues utilizing standard observability tools
  • Identifies issues for escalation and communication, and provides solutions to the business and technology stakeholders
  • Analyzes complex situations and trends to anticipate and solve incident, problem, and change management in support of full stack technology systems, applications, or infrastructure
  • Covers internal and external engagements with line of business partners including regulatory, compliance, privacy and/or media communications.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining information technology services
  • Demonstrated knowledge of applications or infrastructure in a large-scale technology environment both on premises and public cloud
  • Expertise in Cybersecurity incident management processes
  • Experience in observability and monitoring tools and techniques
  • Knowledge of risk and controls landscape, ensuring company-wide standards are met
  • Proficient in root cause analysis for all critical Major incidents and driving resolution to the issues
  • Exposure to processes in scope of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework
  • Experience with analyzing operational metrics to identify process improvements.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages and/or automation scripting
  • Working understanding of public cloud
