About the position

The Technology Vice President, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning and Data Management at GDIT is responsible for developing divisional strategies to enhance customer engagement and drive growth through innovative AI and data management solutions. This role involves leading project delivery, managing teams, and ensuring the successful execution of technical architecture responses to secure new contracts. The Vice President will also provide expert guidance to colleagues, oversee project planning, and communicate effectively with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Develop divisional strategy to drive customer engagement and growth.
• Craft technical architecture responses for proposal efforts.
• Analyze Request for Information/Quote/Proposal requirements and develop responsive solutions.
• Review solutions developed by team members for appropriateness and completeness.
• Present solutions to internal management, peers, and customers.
• Provide updates to stakeholders on project cost, schedule, and quality.
• Manage small to medium sized teams to develop responses to customer requirements.
• Provide expert guidance and leadership to less-experienced colleagues.
• Define and delegate tasks related to project completion.
• Participate in creating project budgets, schedules, and quality plans.
• Measure, evaluate, and assess effectiveness of products and processes.
• Support external communications and conference presentations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in data, data analytics, artificial intelligence, or related technical field.
• 10+ years of related technical experience in Solution Architecture and Programming.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in AI/ML, Data Management, or related technical roles.
• Experience with AI/ML strategies and platforms.
• Strong understanding of data architecture principles, data warehousing, ETL processes, and big data technologies.
