About the position

Prime Hydraulic Logistics is seeking an experienced Hydraulic Technician/Mechanic to join our team in Houston, TX. The role focuses on the maintenance and repair of hydraulic cylinders for heavy machinery, ensuring high-quality service and solutions for our clients. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in hydraulics and will be responsible for diagnosing, disassembling, repairing, and testing hydraulic systems to meet our rigorous quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, rebuild, reassemble, test, and paint various types of hydraulic cylinders used in industrial, construction, and agricultural applications.
• Regularly lift between 25 and 75 pounds and stand for up to 8 hours.
• Complete assigned daily tasks and ensure all work is performed safely and efficiently.
• Promote adherence to company safety policies and seek continuous improvement in safety practices.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tools, materials, and the workshop environment.
• Assist in other tasks within the hydraulic shop as needed.

Requirements

• Strong mechanical aptitude and in-depth knowledge of hydraulic cylinder components.
• Experience in manufacturing, assembling, and repairing hydraulic systems, preferably hydraulic cylinders.
• Ability to read and interpret hydraulic schematics accurately.
• Competence in maintenance, troubleshooting, and replacement of seals and other hydraulic system components.
