Responsibilities
- Completing thorough intake assessments via video software for patients in emergency rooms.
- Determining appropriate levels of care in collaboration with MDs.
- Verifying insurance benefits for patients.
- Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with referral sources.
- Entering all intake and admission data into a hospital computer database.
- Handling intake calls and completing follow-up tasks pending resolution.
- Ensuring treatment and clinical service recommendations are based upon patient needs.
- Maintaining positive relationships with staff from other departments to foster a team environment.
Requirements
- Must be licensed or eligible for licensure as LMSW, LPC, or LMFT.
- Valid state driver's license with appropriate endorsement.
