About the position
The TeleDerm Dermatologist position at Reliant Medical Group, part of the Optum family, offers a unique opportunity for dermatologists to work remotely, providing care through telemedicine. This role is designed for both retired and practicing dermatologists seeking flexible hours and the ability to work from home, focusing on diagnosis and treatment without administrative burdens. The position emphasizes collaboration with specially trained Teledermatology nurses and utilizes a state-of-the-art Epic EMR system to enhance patient care.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat dermatological conditions through telemedicine consultations.
- Review patient photos and histories to provide assessments and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with Teledermatology nurses to communicate with patients regarding assessments and follow-ups.
- Manage eConsult cases asynchronously, requiring approximately 5-10 minutes per consult.
- Utilize Epic EMR system for patient management.
Requirements
- Board Eligible (BE) or Board Certified (BC) in Dermatology.
- Unlimited Licensure in the state of Massachusetts.
- Active DEA License.
- Must reside in Massachusetts.
