About the position

The Telecom Construction / Integration Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting project management activities related to the modernization of telecom infrastructure. This role involves maintaining project schedules, managing documentation, and ensuring effective communication among stakeholders. The coordinator will work closely with project managers and contractors to track project activities and deliverables, ensuring timely completion of tasks and adherence to project timelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a detailed project schedule for all project phases.
• Interface daily with Project Manager(s) to track project activities and maintain documentation.
• Work with contractors on issues and status updates.
• Process purchase orders and perform general administrative duties to support the project management team.
• Participate in team meetings and follow up with tasks and to-do lists.
• Conduct data entry and database management with high accuracy.
• Process daily, weekly, and monthly reporting to ensure smooth project operations.
• Review and validate milestone deliverables with contractors in a timely manner.
• Communicate information clearly to all relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

• Relevant telecom experience.
• Strong construction and integration experience using telecom equipment.
• Proficiency in Excel, including navigating formulas and tables.
• Ability to read construction drawings, RFDS, EDP, and CIQ.
• Experience managing heavy workloads with time-sensitive deadlines.
• Experience holding vendor calls and sending out reports.

Nice-to-haves

• Intermediate to expert level skills with online project management tools like MS Project.
• Highly organized and proactive self-starter.
• Ability to work well with others across multiple organizations.
