About the position
The Telecom Engineer will support a telephone system migration to Avaya within a rapidly growing logistics environment. This hybrid role requires candidates to be within driving distance to Ballantyne, NC, and emphasizes the importance of creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.
Responsibilities
- Support the migration of the telephone system to Avaya.
- Provide hands-on experience with Avaya systems.
- Assist in building and designing call queues and hunt groups.
- Track and resolve network and telecom issues.
- Document project success and presentations using Visio, Excel, and Word.
Requirements
- Associate degree or equivalent related work or military experience or certification.
- 2+ years of experience supporting telecom systems.
- Hands-on experience with Avaya.
- Strong customer service and excellent communication skills.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications.
- Experience in telecom and call center concepts.
