About the position

The Project Coordinator plays a crucial role in the Construction Project Management (CPM) team at Astound, focusing on optimizing technology and software resources, process documentation, and refining processes. This position is essential for monitoring the efficiency and performance of current CPM operations while actively seeking opportunities for improvement. The Project Coordinator will provide support and guidance to ensure that the quote team effectively implements business plans, maximizing satisfaction for both Sales Engineers and employees. In this role, the Project Coordinator will be responsible for guiding all levels of the CPM team regarding processes, procedures, and reporting. They will act as the administrator for departmental software, including Point, Tableau, B2W, and Sugar, ensuring that these tools are utilized effectively. The coordinator will monitor the implementation of project improvement systems aimed at enhancing activity reporting and productivity. Additionally, they will verify that all reports are updated regularly and contain accurate information, including data from PST and Tableau. The Project Coordinator will maintain digital records for various processes, contractors, and teams, ensuring that all process documents are kept up to date as changes occur. They will assist in the development of training programs as required and provide training and support for Project Coordinator I. Other duties may be assigned by the manager as needed, making this a dynamic and multifaceted role within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance to all levels of CPM team regarding processes, procedures and reporting
  • Act as administrator for departmental software, including Point, Tableau, B2W and Sugar
  • Monitor implementation of project improvement systems to improve activity reporting and productivity
  • Verify all reports are updating regularly and with correct information, including PST and Tableau
  • Maintain digital records for various processes, contractors, and teams
  • Keep all process documents updated as changes occur
  • Assist with development of training programs as required
  • Assist in training and support for Project Coordinator I
  • Perform any other duties and projects as assigned by manager

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of project coordination experience
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills required; experience with GIS or mapping software preferred
  • Ability to track and analyze data
  • Strong critical-thinking, attention to detail and time management skills are required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are required
  • Ability to communicate effectively with peers, Boundary partners and leadership and to provide status updates as needed
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment without supervision
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance with a satisfactory driving record required
