About the position

Our client is a worldwide telecommunications company that offers voice, data, and video services and solutions on its award-winning networks and platforms, delivering on customers' demand for mobility, reliable network connectivity, security, and control. We are looking for a Telecom Project Coordinator to fulfill administrative duties for the Core Equipment Engineering (CEE) team. This position is based in Richardson, TX, and is a hybrid role, requiring in-office presence three days a week. The pay for this position is $50 per hour on a W2 basis, with a duration of 24 months or longer. The ideal candidate for this job is resourceful, a good problem solver, and organized. The ability to handle multiple tasks with competing priorities is essential. This person must be well organized and capable of managing demands at an executive level. Attention to detail and strong follow-through will be key to the success of this role. Expertise in Excel is a must, and applicants will not be considered if they do not have expertise in PowerPoint. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required, along with knowledge of Google Workspace skills (Gmail, Contacts, Calendar, Docs, Drive, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite skills. A financial and budget background is a plus but not required, and prior telecom experience is also a plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project tasks and activities
  • Track project progress and follow up on action items
  • Conduct risk analysis for ongoing projects
  • Coordinate action registry for ongoing issues within the team
  • Resolve vendor-related issues

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in project coordination or related field
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Gmail, Contacts, Calendar, Docs, Drive, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks with competing priorities
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
